For three days, between 7th and 9 th of July, the RFM SOMNII will be delivering the sounds of the world’s top DJs to Figueira da Foz’s expansive Praia do Relógio beach.
This festival’s unique ingredients- sun, beach and a ton of electronic music in a gorgeous natural setting- attract a growing number of people every year.
As the sun sets and the celebration lasts until the early hours, imposing staging, dazzling pyrotechnics and massive sound systems are used to support the excellent lineup of DJs.

2. The MEO Marés Vivas Festival
An annual music event, the unique Festival MEO Marés Vivas, first took place in Vila Nova de Gaia in July of 1999.
This year, the 14th, 15th and 16th of July, Vila Nova de Gaia will witness the 15th MEO Marés Vivas Festival- what an amazing opportunity! You definitely have to attend it if you’re a fan!

3. Porto Wine Festival
This celebration is regarded as the biggest port wine celebration on the Gaia riverbank!

4. Ritual Rock Nights
A series of rock shows featuring up-and-coming local rock bands is called “Noites Ritual Rock” or “Ritual Rock Nights.” The performances, which take place this August in the Palacio de Cristal’s gardens, draw a mostly young crowd, adorned with events outside the concerts, such photography exhibitions and workshops.
The goal of this event, which has been going on for more than 20 years, is still the same- to promote Portuguese music and mark the end of the city’s rock festival season.
