The Eng. António de Almeida Memorial House (Casa Museu Eng. António de Almeida)

By will, the Engineer António de Almeida established a foundation that bears his name and is meant to promote art, education and charity. The museum reunites various pieces collected by the fiunder: furniture, jewelry, textiles, porcelain, paintings, watches and coins.

The Archeosite (Arqueossítio da Rua D. Hugo nº 5)

This archeological site preserves the longest sequence of traces of human settlement ever to have been documented in Porto. It is a small museum, but a landmark in local archeology.

The Natural History Museum of the Porto University (Museu de História Natural da Universidade do Porto)

The museum is divided in several sections: The Zoological Room, The Paleontology Room, The Mineralogy Room and The Archeology and Ethnography Room. It is also quite close to the Crystal Palace Gardens, which proves to be a great opportunity to stop by both places in only one outing.
